Downer has engaged Bayton to undertake contract cleaning services to various properties within its portfolio. The portfolio is varied and consists of commercial office buildings, workshops, warehouses, maintenance depots and operational mine sites nationally throughout Australia, and covers the rail, mining, engineering, industrial, roads and infrastructure sectors. Bayton were selected as Downer’s preferred supplier of cleaning services based not only on quality and value, but also their ability and willingness to be able to work with Downer in a challenging environment. The portfolio is continually changing and flexibility is essential.
The quality of service delivery since commencement of the contract in January 2013 has generally been excellent. With any cleaning contract it is inevitable that there will be some issues, the majority of which are dealt with at site level through the established communication methods. Occasional issues are escalated and are dealt with swiftly and professionally by Bayton management to the satisfaction of the client. Overall, I am happy with the services provided by Bayton and would recommend using Bayton as a service provider.
